XP Pro Service Pack 2-Windows Update Error number: 0x80072EFD

I cannot update XP Pro with Service Pack 2. I get the
following message:

Windows Update Error number: 0x80072EFD

I am not running a server and I am not a systems analyst.

you try to use Windows Update

drop your firewall in XP and Norton (or whatever you
have).. it'll work fine then.
