Default SP2 and old version of Norton Antivirus

I have installed SP2 on my home PC without any obvious
problems. However, Security Center fails to spot my
Norton's Antivirus 2002.

However, on my work laptop, with a more up-to-date
Symantec product, Security Center does recognise it and
marks it as active.

Can anyone tell me if Symantec are going to release an
WMI update for older versions of Norton's Antivirus?

(I realise this is really a Symantec question, but their
website is useless at answering this sort of thing)

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve, I doubt that Symantec will release an update for the 2002 version.
Best idea is to upgrade the product, I heard the 2005 version is out now. If you
are not ready to upgrade, you will have to live with the problem until then.

Thanks! ...I'm running version 8.1.1 - I wonder if they'll really have it
