After downloading SP2 three days ago, I had continuing
disconnects every 3-5 minutes from AOL 9.0. AOL's tech supp advised uninstalling/reinstalling, changing local dial up #, and even suggested I had a virus. Turns out through my own troubleshooting that turning off the firewall that came with SP2 solved the disconnect problem. Is there a way to get around this so the firewall can be ON? |

ditch aohell for one thing as they are not the internet and
have different parameters for connections. and sp2 firewall should have some settings in it that will allow aohell to connect properly such as a safe list for connection. could be part aohell spyware activity that xp does not like. and the xp firewall is not the greatest but for some people it is more simple than using a real ,full firewall. >-----Original Message----- >After downloading SP2 three days ago, I had continuing >disconnects every 3-5 minutes from AOL 9.0.
