I am getting this error when trying to install Windows
update software. The suggested solution to change
registry was in hk/local machine/software/microsoft/WIND.

Would WIND mean WINDOWS? If not, I don't have a WIND
listing.

Other suspicions are my Spyware Blaster, Process Guard,
Adshield, or other blocking software.

(Now I hope I can find my way back here to see if anyone
posts a reply. I couldn't do a search for 0x80070005.)

Thanks,
charlie
