About two weks ago I recieved a message from Microsoft to
perform security updates. I did that and then went to live update my Norton Antivirous program. I received a message that I had to "reinstall" the live update. I have spent hours and hours trying to do that. Finally I got the program uninstalled so that I could install it and now I found that I can not get back into Symatec to install. I just renewed that program and now I can not get it downloaded. Symantec calls for an order number and when I copy it exactly off the statement, I get an error message. If I had not just renewed that program I would find another antivirous vendor. They have no numbers to call, no e-mail interactive process or any other means of giving good customer support necessary. Does anyne else have this problem and if so, any ideas as to what I can do? Very frustrated! Brad |

Yes, many people have had problems with Symantec - esp. when it was
downloaded, not bought in a store. Unfortunately, you are stuck with either trying to contact them via phone or email, or ditching it and giving up and finding a better vendor. See if you can call their corporate offices and complain or get some help..... Brad Kollmann wrote: > About two weks ago I recieved a message from Microsoft to > perform security updates. hey,
try going to https://symantec.iseva.net/support.aspx that's Symantec free e-mail support site. Send them an email and they should reply with some suggestions on how to fix it in anywhere from 1 to 2 days. >-----Original Message----- >About two weks ago I recieved a message from Microsoft to >perform security updates.
