Keyboard stopped working

I have got two O/S installed on my advent 200 series
Pentium (4) 2.4 GH, 224 MB of R.A.M.One Window XP Home and
one XP Pro.XP Home has not got no password and I can get
access without promblem,hence I am writing this mail.
XP Pro has got password to enter.Now once I open up the
Pro it reach to the stage to fill up the password. At that
stage my keyboard stopped working. I've check all the
connection and also move around the USB but no avail.Now I
can't get into my XP Pro to do anything.
Any idea how to solve this problem. Thanks.

Just to check, did you try that keyboard in the other machine, just to be
sure it's not the keyboard.
