Window Browser clutter

When I open Windows Browser and click on 'My Computer'
and 'C: drive,' I see the 'My documents' folder at the
top, under 'Documents & Settings' in the middle, and
under my name as user (I'm the only user on my computer).

Is there a way to reduce this clutter so that the 'My
Documents' folder appears only under 'My Computer' 'C:
drive ?'
