Hi

Is there anyway i can directly interact with windows
security policy or similar to change the setting rather
than getting some security console?

Cheers

If you're running XP Pro, click Start, Run and enter GPEDIT.MSC This utility does not exist in XP Home, nor can it be copied from a Pro system.

Otherwise, you need a 3rd party utility, such as the Windows XP Security Console, or you would need to manipulate the registry settings for each user manually.
