Default How to disable right click and customize start menu?

Hi all,

I would like to restrict user activities on my machine,
how can i disable right click on all level and use only
customized menu for all users, so that i can
remove "Run", "Search", "Favourite" items from the menu.

Any help will greatly appreciated!

Ken,

Have a visit to Dougs website and have a look at his "Security Console" see
if it does what you need, sounds like it might.

Hope this helps

Hi

Is there anyway i can directly interact with windows
security policy or similar to change the setting rather
than getting some security console?

Cheers

Ken,

You can also do it throught either the registry or using the Group Policy
editor which comes as part of the Windows XP kit. If you log onto the
account which you want to lock down then:

Start > Run > gpedit.msc

You can set all kinds of different restrictions.

Hope this helps
