Default ActiveX

I was wondering if anyone knew how to require ActiveX to
prompt you before it downloads anything. I have had
problems with spyware and trojans getting into my computer
and believe I have solved my problems for now. I have read
that one of the ways the spyware is able to get on your
system is through ActiveX. Is there any way to prevent
this from happening without my knowledge again? How do I
do this? Any help is appreciated.

Hi Daniela,
In Internet explorer, click tools/internet options
In the Security TAb, click "Custom"
Here you can choose the settings for ActiveX to propmt
you before loading, etc...
Hope it helps !

Open internet explorer - click tools - internet options -
security - choose internet - then customer level - select
