Default Encryption

I have a second hard drive that I keep encrypted. My
main hard drive had a crash and I had to reformat and
reinstall Windows. So now I cannot access the encrypted
data on my second hard drive (as I expected.) My
question is, can I get this data back in any way, or is
it simply gone?

Default Re: Encryption

Nick;
For all practical purposes the data may be gone for good.
See this link for possible options if you have the necessary back-ups:

Also see the links near the bottom to help prevent this in the future.

Default Encryption

you simply copy the keys you saved when you set up
encryption back to the new install and it will start
working again.
