Erratic Mouse Behavior After Windows Security Update

After downloading and installing the most recent Security
Update, mouse behavior became very erratic. From time to
time, the mouse pointer goes anywhere and is then
difficult to retrieve and bring under control. I went out
and purchased a brand new Logitech MX500 and the same
behavior occurs.

Hi,

i have the same problem after updating my mouse starts getting whirred. I am
not using a mx550 logitech but a ms-tech mouse.
i made out the same problem on a different workstation so i guess this is
a problem that mircosoft has got to fix (did not find any bugfix at all)
