Hi!
I have enabled DHCP on my network and assign a particular number of IPs that is equal to the number of my client PC. Is DHCP on Windows 2000 require authentication before acquiring a lease IP? or its just giving IP address once there was a request? regards, Mark |

Is DHCP on Windows 2000 require Why in the world would you limit the number of addresses to the number of PC's? What happens if you change a network card - amongst other things? >authentication before acquiring a lease IP? or its just giving IP address >once there was a request? Just gives them out as requested. |
