Hello,
My Norton System Works 2003 subscription was about to expire, so I bought a new disk off of eBay to extend my subscription for another year. Unfortunately, I bought another Norton System Works 2003, which when installed, does not change the expiration date, even though it is a new disk, and a legitimate purchase. Uninstall does not clean out the expiration date of the previous install, and does not recognize that the new install is a different serial number and a diffferent disk altogether. I am assuming this is information stored in the registry somewhere, but deleting everything from Symantec and Norton does not work. Does anyone know the registry entry of where this info is stored? I tried a few registry editors and cleaners, but none fixed the problem. (I thought Jv16 Power Tools would do the trick, but it didn't.) Thanks in advance. Mike |
