Default User Id and Password

I am buying a used laptop computer, the only problem is
the girl I am buying it from does not remember her
password since she has not used the computer in over a
year. How can I get the old password and change the user
ID once I purchase it. The laptop has windows XP. I 'm
not buying it if I can't get into it.

Thanks, Antha

Forget all that stuff from the other site (although it's good advice and a
good read)....go here http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/
make the boot floppy and get in to the comp in less than 2 mins. This will
blank the admin password and or any other user account on the system. I have
used this at least 20 times without a problem on win2k Pro/Server and XP.
