I have a file in my Programfiles\outlookexpress directory
The file is just (~) I fdisked my hard drive and
reformated my hard drive thinking it was a virus.
When I reloaded my xp home the file ~ was gone.
When I used microsoft updates the file can back.
I need to Know if this is a virus or just an outlook
express file . when I creat an email address in the
program the file ~ is updated with the new email address.
Can someone tell me what this file is doing and why it is
doing it.

Hello
I seen a discussion on this a day or two ago, it was a glitch in one of the
updates, but I believe a fix is out for it, it is not harmful just looks
like it might be.
