svchost.exe error

I get an error message every time I go on the internet that
states An error happened in the svchost.exe, windows will
be closed and an error log will be generated. The
Microsoft trouble shooting help said it was caused by a
Novell Product. But I do not have any Novell Products.
Any other advice on how to correct this. Thank you.

HELP HELP HELP This thing SHUTS me down 6 times every
day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some times 1 min after
opening IE6 in W2000 Pro. some times 4 hrs, BUT ALWAYS
every day.

I need to pass this solution onto several co-employees and
friends. THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED PROBLEM. MSN NEEDS TO
ADDRESS THIS BUG NOW.
