Default Lock toolbar

In Windows XP, you have an option to lock the Quick Launch
toolbar. No such option is available in Windows 2000, BUT
is there a group policy selection OR a registry setting
that will lock that toolbar? Thanks.

Hi TJ:
I must say that I do not use XP,but there is a tool called
"regshot" which can monitor registry changes, you can find what values are
changed in the XP registry, and apply them to the 2000(Hope them would
work! But XP is a version above 2000),You can download the tool at its
author's site:http://regshot.yeah.net/

Howdy!

I have been working on this too. It looks like the Quick Launch Toolbar
is more than just reg keys. There are only two keys that change when the
toolbar is enabled or disabled, but changing them doesn't appear to
affect the toolbar at all.

If you make any headway on this, please share it.
