Default SYSTEMced

When I start windows 2000, I get a message that
reads, "WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEMced" is corrupted or
missing. I loaded Windows 2000 on my second drive (d and
looked into my c: drive. In the Config folder in the c:
drive, system and system.alt seems to be missing. Can I
copy this two files from my d: drive to my c: drive??

Thanks.

Copy the newest file from C:\Winnt\Repair or C:\Winnt\Repair\Regback to
C:\Winnt\System32\Config.
