Default Windows XP copy


Hi All,

SInce I couldn't find a sepecial XP group I post my question here. I have
few disks in my PC and I want to do the following operation:

1. Boot from one disk and edit the registry of the other disk, both XP.
2. Copy the active registry from the current running system to a second
disk.

Can someone help pleas?

microsoft.public.windowsxp.configuration_management
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general
microsoft.public.windowsxp.hardware
microsoft.public.windowsxp.help_and_support
microsoft.public.windowsxp.newusers
microsoft.public.windowsxp.security_admin
microsoft.public.windowsxp.setup_deployment

If your ISP doesn't presently carry these groups, you can access
them via nntp://msnews.microsoft.com.

I found 28 Windows XP groups on my server?????

Actually there are 79 for XP including all the languages on
"msnews.microsoft" and 26 if you come in thru the browser in english not
to mention that XP is actually listed before 2000 in the help Web page.
So go figure. :-)
