I had a start-up problem that I could not fix and took my
Laptop to a "repair" shop. While I can now log on they completely sacked my PC. It appears that they created a new user called Administrator but did not copy any of the registry or user information over from my Default user file. Now the system does not recognize my DVD, any office applications and apparently there are no file recognition at all. About the only thing I figured out to do was get on-line. Can anyone give me a place to start? |

The local administrator always was there as it's created by default. Did you
try logging on as your username and password? -- Regards, Dave Patrick ....Please no email replies - reply in newsgroup.
