No reply necessary; just a heads-up on a couple of odd items.
Under the System Explorers tool: Microsoft Genuine Advantage Validation shows as Unknown Microsoft Reader Activation Client Control shows as Unkown Microsoft Windows Update Control shows as Unknown Microsoft.AntiSpyware.ShellExecuteHook1 shows as Unkown One would think that Microsoft would know its own products. Also, for some strange reason, the many of the MSN Games sites are having problems loading, but I'm not getting any messages from the AntiSpyware app. Games work just fine if I shut down AntiSpyware. Cheers. |

The AntiSpyware and MS Genuine Advantage are already fixed in that update. The others, you are correct. There are also other MS ActiveX that are unknown still: Microsoft PlayBoard Control {00000160-0000-0010-8000-00AA00389B71} (This is an MS codec for Windows Media Player) {3334504D-0000-0010-8000-00AA00389B71} (This is an MS codec for Windows Media Player) Microsoft Windows Update Manager for NT |
