While doing scan- Hangs when it gets to registry key- Then
get virtual memory low mess. and the program freezes. It had detected 12 spyware threats and 16 spyware threats. I really would like to get past this to be able to remove/deleted these issues. I'm running XP with two users one user from where I installed it it works fine. Only from the second user is where it detects more spyware after it was already deleted from first user. |

You might try in safe mode to see if that helps.

I've not seen this situation with this product. With other spyware
cleaners, I've heard anecdotal reports of similar difficulties, and the main way around them was to persist and as the machine got cleaned the balky product would eventually finish the job. I would recommend doing some reading on the particular bugs it is citing on your system--look for manual cleaning information from reputable third-parties--PestPatrol, symantec, whatever clear information you can find. Do submit a Tools, suspected spyware report if your system is able to do that. Jim Byrd has some excellent posts in the .signatures group, as I recall, listing resources and general tools for removing resistant bugs. <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:167e01c4f665$396b7550$a401280a@phx.gbl... > Thanks - since the last post I had try it in safe mode.
