Default Possible Bug in Beta1 Software

Microsoft Anti-Spyware Beta1 Development team,

When trying to view the Checkpoint agents it is noticed
they are all deactivated. When trying to activate them
VIA the activate link button the mouse point changes
quickly then back to the normal pointer icon. however,
activation does not occur. This has been duplicated many
times on my system and occurs on all checkpoints. I have
1 system on my home network that is deligated for Beta
software and, I can only confirm this issue on that one
system. If others in this newgroup can confirm
duplication to their system please reply. Technical Specs
for the software for use by Microsoft and, the Beta Dev
team follow:

Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1 version 1.0.501
Spyware Definition Version/Date: 5680 (01/06/2005
14:10:18 EST (09:10:18 GMT))
On: Windows XP

Additionally The Diagnostic Report within the antispyware
application reports all agents expect SA Internet is
enabled. Possible the UI does not update or, execute the
SA information retrieval correctly?

Default Possible Bug in Beta1 Software

When in "Tool - Summary" screen, It states that I have "2
of 3 active agents" besides "Real Time Protection".

However, on the "Real Time Protection" screen, it says "18
agents enabled" and all types are listed as "Active"... and
when I hover each type of agents, I get "25/25 Internet
Agents", "25/25 System Agents", "25/25 Application
Agents"... which is weird, because all of that doesn't sum
up very well.

Moreover, when I click each of these types of agents, the
only thing I get is under "Internet Agents", it is called
"Window's Host File Agent"... other than that, everything
is empty.

Operating System: WinXP SP2
Microsoft AntiSpyware Version: 1.0.501
Spyware Definition Version: 5680 (2005-01-08 12:02:55)

I also tried:
1) Uninstall/Reinstall
2) Turning McAfee AntiVirus off
3) Turning ZoneAlarm Firewall off

Nothing seems to get it fixed.

Default Possible Bug in Beta1 Software

I believe my problem is similar if not the same.

I deactivated script blocking as I was having a problem.
Problem was not MS Beta1 s/w so tried to "activate" and
it won't reactivate.

Tried on "process" agent and it too is now stuck
on "deactivated" and can't reactivate.

Running XP home WITHOUT SP2.

Hope someone can help.
