Installed the Anti-Spyware program, updated it, ran the
scan, and needed to restart. After that a dialogue box pops up saying no firewall enabled, so i go to enable it through the Firewall control panel and it doesnt allow it. I have service pack 2 with all the latest updates. In order to fix this problem, one must use system recovery and roll back one day. This has happened so far on 3 different systems with XP Pro with Service Pack 2 with the latest updates. My suggestion to everyone is not to install this Anti-Spyware program intill Microsoft looks into this problem and comes up with a solution. |

When you say:
Ran the scan, and it needed to restart I take it that you told it to clean some things. It might be useful to know what was cleaned--which is contained in a log in the directory that MS Antispyware is installed in. I'd love to see the content of Cleaner.log--preferably in the networking group where this conversation belongs.
