I recently downloaded this application while at work, and
behind a MS ISA server. The application istalled and started just fine. I was leaving for the day, so I shut down and went home. At home this is what happened: 1. Booted up (to a wireless network) and the application started fine. I try to get on the internet, and nothing would come up. 2. I test my wife's computer, adn her settings, and get on the interenet just fine. 3. I look deeper at my latop settings/proxy settings/DNS and all looks good. I was even connected and able to ping my home ISP's DNS servers just fine. Still no internet. 4. I figure since it shows im connected, why not try a VPN into work. VIOLA!!! connection goes through, and I get on the internet. If anyone could figure this one out for my sanity, PLEASE do tell. And yes I did flush the DNS (and uninstalled the application until further testing). Still can't get the internet from home unless I am VPN'ed into work. STUMPED...... |

Try and go to a website and run netstat and see if your getting out on port 80 if so then http is working and your getting somewhat connected to a www. 2) In the new Beta go to Real Time Internet Agents in Advanced and make sure you didn't turn on a feature that may block your surfing. Especially the Internet Safe Sites. 3) Also do a tracert and see how far you get. Post those results so we can look at them. Let us know what you get from this. TSD |

Did you do any cleaning?
I've seen reports of networking disruption which may be either 1) malware in the LSP stack which isn't removed correctly, or 2) Good dll's in the LSP stack which are removed and shouldn't have been! I haven't seen any report except yours of network connectivity impacted simply by installing the app. Do you know whether you have the Proxy Client installed on your machine? I believe that's visible in Control Panel.
