If past experience is any guide, this won't happen.
In the public XPSP2 beta, the only recourse was to watch for MS posts which I flagged through an imperfect filter, and then go and read the surrounding discussion. The software has been released as a PUBLIC Beta, so why shouldn't we 'THE PUBLIC' be allowed to post comments? I am sure the moderators will remove any unsuitable posts/comments... |

I hope that you've notice that there are 6 other groups associated with the publicly released beta? One of which is labelled "general?" It really does help if folks post to a group relevant to their particular issue. For example, it is helpful if False Positive issues are posted to the signatures group--and I know this isn't necessarily intuitively obvious to all of us. If the posts to this group were all individual announcements of what we think of the product, I wouldn't bother reading it. I hope Microsoft would, but I'm here to help, rather than argue about whether your opinion is more accurate than mine. |

Being a Beta Tester for MSFT, having been on more than 12 Betas, I agree
that since this is public, the public is allowed to comment.
