This product doesn't appear to support the taskbar (start
menu etc) being positioned anywhere other than the default position. The notifications fly up and down the screen. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? |

Thanks for your input. May I suggest searching the
newsgroups before posting to help you find the information you are looking for? http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm >-----Original Message----- >This product doesn't appear to support the taskbar (start >menu etc) being positioned anywhere other than the default >position. I was just going to post the same thing. For some reason, the messages from Anti-Spyware (event alert, application modification alert etc.) seem to just float up and beyond the screen view if you have vertical task bar. Is there an option to control it? I'd think several people have vertical task bars and Microsoft would have tested it!! |

Change the taskbar to horizontal to work around this. It's a bug.

Hiya
I'm experiencing the same problem. You can stop the flyups by moving your mouse pointer across the alerts path. Usually when the mouse pointer hits the alert, the alert stops moving. I do hope they fix this in the next release. Is there a way to formally report bugs for this product? This is a public beta.
These forums provide peer support for the beta, and Microsoft reads the messages--so they will get feedback posted here. -- FAQ for Microsoft Antispyware: http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm "Kon" <neversleepz@outrospective.org> wrote in message news:%23tZ9zNBOFHA.604@cpmsftngsa05.privatenews.microsoft.com... > Hiya > > I'm experiencing the same problem.
