Default Using Anti-Spyware on Win 98

I am running Windows 98 and According to 'system
requirements' install is for Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
Can I use Anti-spyware on my Windows 98 or will this cause
a problem?

You will not be able to use the beta on Windows 98.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Which other software would
you recommend to remove spyware and my Internet Explorer
has been hijacked by e-blank. I've tried both Ad Aware
and Spybot and they have not been successful..

I'm not Steve Dodson, but here are some recommendations from Microsoft
citations:

http://www.microsoft.com/athome/sec...ckcomputer.mspx
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;827315
http://www.microsoft.com/protect
http://www.microsoft.com/spyware

All of the advice at these URL's, with the exception of the Microsoft
Antispyware download, is applicable to the older versions of Windows. The
videos are worth watching.
