Default United Devices

Not had any problems with MSAS so far, took a bit of
tweaking but now everything I want to run - does, 1
niggle I have United Devices Cancer research program on
my PC http://www.grid.org/home.htm

Everytime windows start MSAS asks if this program should
be allowed to auto start, I just press Allow, but I
cannot seem to find a way of making the privledges for
this programme permanent - any suggestions would be
useful.

I run this same app on the system I am writing from--a desktop--and I
haven't seen this issue. Are you running their latest client code?

I seem to be on 3.0.1 according to hitting help in the UD agent, and then
help, about in the UD Agent Help that appears. Hmm--about this agent (the
check mark) says 3.0 (2814.)

Not sure what to suggest--I've had that program on my machine forever--long
before Microsoft Antispyware. And haven't heard a peep out of Microsoft
Antispyware about it. Reinstalling it might be something to try--I don't
believe that's too complex--i.e. I don't think you need to remember any
passwords or logins or anything--just re-run the install.
