Default MS Anti Spyware compatibility with XPSP2 firewall

I have a windows xp pro with sp2 installed but i'm
encountering problems when installing ms anti-spyware on
my box, after the anti-spyware installation and scanning
of the system it prompts for a reboot, what happens is the
firewall becomes disabled after the reboot and encounters
an error which prohibits the service from starting-up
error encountered has something to do with protocol.

Here's the fix--For XP SP2, only:

at a command prompt:

netsh winsock reset

and hit enter
