Default Hangs during registry scan

The program hangs when it detects ISTBar_TROJ in the system
registry. Nothing has been able to change, move, rename,
etc. this file. IT CAN NOT BE REMOVED. I can't even remove
it manually. You remove all references to it in the
registry, and it just keeps comming back. Microsoft don't
cut, or TrendMicro, or Norton, or Spybot S&D, or
Spywareblaster. NOTHING. Whoever designed this virus/trojan
should make operating systems. It's the stealthiest bug
I've ever seen in 30 years of computing.

Try using Avast! Anti-Virus. It is free to download for home users. Get the
latest updates before you scan.

Thanks Ed. I tried it. It found a couple (2)threats, but
not nearly as many as norton, (23 in all). Even after it
removed and quarentined them in the chest, they were back
again on next system startup. It's VERY stealthy. Thanks,
but I'm going back to Norton. Neither product removed them,
but at least with Norton I feel like I'm aware of more
threats. Which causes more worry. MY brain is in a system
dump approaching the blue screen of death.
