Default System is crashing, rebooting on RPC terminated unexpectedly

Oh, deeply in it now -

downloaded, ran, and deleted/quarantined - system prompted
for reboot -

it is now rebooting, and erroring out on the following
alert -
Message - Windows must now restart because the Remote
Procedure call terminated unexpectedly.

ideas?

Default Re: System is crashing, rebooting on RPC terminated unexpectedly

Copy/paste the following line into an IE Addressbar, click on GO, then
copy/paste the results into your reply:

javascript:navigator.appMinorVersion

Also state your Windows version.

Default System is crashing, rebooting on RPC terminated unexpectedly

1) Open up control panel
2) Open up administrative tools
3) Open up services and locate remote procedure call
4) Double click on the RPC service and under the Recovery
tab, change all responses to "take no action"

Enjoy!
