Will there be a feature or is there a feature that I am
missing where you can update the definitions manually without using the autoupdate. Will/Can we just go to a website that will allow us to download the new def. files and post them on an internal server and than have the computers link to server and not the world wide web??? |

Yes, that feature (Check for Updates) is in the File menu.

Go to START / PROGRAMS / MICROSOFT ANTISPYWARE / MICROSOFT ANTISPYWARE
