Why is this (subject) identifier popping up during
startup? Does this have anything to do with my new hp
(athlon 3000 running xp pro)running eratically? My lcd
monitor shifts from 800x600 to 640x ??, the weird part
being; my monitor doesn't have a 640x--- adjustment.

Try removing Microsoft Antispyware and see whether the behavior goes away.

If it does, try reinstalling. If the behavior comes back, I'd uninstall and
await a new build to test further.
