You shouldn't be getting constant alerts--I have this installed on 3 dozen
office pc's and I've only heard feedback (of any kind) from two of those users. My experience is that such popups indicate an uncleared infection on your machine, most likely. Here are things to try: 1) Do a Tools, suspected spyware report within Microsoft Antispyware. That'll get whatever is on your machine a little higher on the radar screens, and maybe get it cleaned more effectively in future definition sets. 2) restart in safe mode by pressing the F8 function key before the first Windows screen appears as the machine starts up. Run Microsoft antispyware and your updated antivirus. Do full, deep scans until one comes through clean. 3) Tell us more about the popups--there are some specific messages that we may be able to help out with, or the content may tell us what bug is involved, and get some information to help clear it out more effectively. -- FAQ for Microsoft Antispyware: http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm "laura" <lauraparisblue@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:11a501c55e4f$1393ae40$a401280a@phx.gbl... > The microsoft antisyware pop ups are driving me crazy. any > way to keep the program without having the alerts poping up > constantly? |
