Un-Quarantine to restore, so confusing. I think it would
be much easier if we see restore. I think Un-Quarantine confuses some people. Un-quarantine threat need to change to Restore threat Un-quarantine all checked threats need to change to Restore all checked threats |

I think this is an interesting point, perhaps. The term quarantine isn't
nearly as familiar to folks nowadays, at least in the more developed parts of the world, as it was to our parents and grandparents generations. I think the usage makes sense, but I'm not sure that the term is meaningful to a good many of the users. Maybe backup and restore would make more sense. We had a query in these groups in the last three days about essentially this point--what was the meaning of Quarantine? (or, at least, I answered it that way--may not have been what the OP had in mind!) An argument that I can see against that change is that we are talking about "bad stuff" here--not just your average data. backup and restore are neutral functions that we usually feel pretty positive about--and maybe we need to make sure that people thing twice about "restoring" something that Microsoft Antispyware thought was worth getting off their system. -- FAQ for Microsoft Antispyware: http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm "Andre Da Costa" <andred25@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:OBvslKkXFHA.2016@cpmsftngsa05.privatenews.microsoft.com... >I am confused by your post, whats confusing about Quarantine. > -- > > Andre > http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta > FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm > > "MSAS Fan" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:08f401c55e3b$83d36d80$a501280a@phx.gbl... >> Un-Quarantine to restore, so confusing.
