That would grant the limited user some level of Administrator rights, I
don't know about that. -- Andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm "MSAS Fan" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:15bc01c55e30$03905940$a601280a@phx.gbl... > On the final version MSAS when it finally suppport > Multiple User accounts and limited account, we should be > able to update definition on limited account |

Here's the skinny on Limited accounts by Steve Dodson:
You have a limited user account running the application looking for spyware on all files and folders. This includes the administrator account which limited users may not be able to access. So we have to approach this carefully in order to remove the spyware from all locations, but also preserve file and folder permissions and access. In short, we are addressing this for a future release, but it involves some major coding and testing. -- Andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:118901c55e39$38a06630$a401280a@phx.gbl... > Well if i can't update it on limited Account, Is it ok to > use the Runas command to update my definition i never > tried this. > >>-----Original Message----- >>That would grant the limited user some level of > Administrator rights, I >>don't know about that. >>-- >> >>Andre >>http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta >>FAQ for MS AntiSpy > http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm >> >>"MSAS Fan" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote > in message >>news:15bc01c55e30$03905940$a601280a@phx.gbl... >>> On the final version MSAS when it finally suppport >>> Multiple User accounts and limited account, we should > be >>> able to update definition on limited account >> >> >>. >> |
