Default Error when reporting to SpyNet - possibly caused by Internet Security 7

Microsofts Antispyware has been running with olmost no
problems.

The following problems are the ones I am facing at the
moment:

1) Cannot connect to server - appears at computer startup
and disappears after a while. Both a 1 ghz HP and a 3.2
P4 machine cause the "problem" and it seems to be
gcasDTserv.exe that causes the "delay". I have found no
cure.

2) Autoupdate runs out of schedule. I have set an
autoupdate schedule for 10 AM everyday, but the
autoupdate runs every now and then. Mostly though at
startup (when not started at 10 am). I have tried to
change the schedule in every way, and a changed schedule
works fine with the spyware scan, but apparently not with
autoupdate. I have found no cure.

3) Trying to run a SpyWare report causes a failure when
sending the finished report. Even showing the report xml-
file in IE 6 fails. I suspect that the McAfee Internet
Security 7 has something to do with it, but I'm not sure.
I have tried to disable all features in Internet Security
7, but it doesn't help.
When creating the report on computers running McAfee
Enterprise 8.0i (& updates) the only interference is the
XP SP2 firewall which is easily set, and the report is
send.
I have found no way out of the problem - the computer
does not seem to be infected though.

Hope somebody has en answer to this.

(Its seems that the next beta is released on August 1,
since the timebomb in beta 1 is set to July 31st. is this
correct?)

Concerning the expiration, beta 2 could come before beta 1 expires.

I wouldn't be so quick to blame McAfee security--this same issue exists on
machines without that app installed. (i.e. the issue about sending Suspected
Spyware reports.)

I don't have anything useful to say about 1 and 2, I'm afraid.

I'm with Andre about the next beta drop, though--I'm hoping it will be
sooner than the expiration date of this one.

I'll back Bill on your #3 problem. This isn't McAfee's problem. I've
experienced the same, and I won't let their stuff near my machines.
