When the taskbar is aligned on the side of the screen (on Windows 2000)
rather than at the bottom, sometimes the popup messages (like the one that alerts you about new definitions) fly from the bottom right side of the screen up off the top right side of the screen. For a long time, I didn't know what was flying by, since they go really fast. But I managed to catch one when I moved my taskbar back to the bottom! -- Jim Hunziker |
