is there a beta 2 coming soon let say may or are they
releasing beta 2 when beta 1 expire on July? although i would like these antispyware to be release after july would be nice. really hard to tell, Microsoft we need some explanation on when you're going to release beta 2 or final version, We need a more stable Microsoft Window Antispyware that actually work, easy to use and with just few bugs? Hopefully on the Final Version of Microsoft Window Antispyware would have no compatibility issue with other security application like Symantec Norton which most people have on there computer since Symantec product is know to be preloaded to a new computer. |

Is antispyware not working for you? If it is missing spyware, please submit
a suspected spyware report from the tools menu and/or post to the NG. -- -steve Steve Dodson [MSFT] MCSE, CISSP PSS Security -- This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. yes MSAS is working fine but i just don't like the bug
that people and i have encountered without any explanation from microsoft at all, like error.log this thing get really big if you don't watch it, compatibility issue with some Symantec product, pop-alert take a long time to show up (performance and stability need more improvements), freezing when updating definitions, typos, no multi-user/limited account support. >-----Original Message----- >Is antispyware not working for you? Yes, the AntiSpyware Team are aware of the Symantec issues and are working
to resolve them, they are also working on the grammatical errors, you will see this and other issues including the limited accounts issue solved for beta 2. You have a limited user account running the application looking for spyware on all files and folders. This includes the administrator account which limited users may not be able to access. So we have to approach this carefully in order to remove the spyware from all locations, but also preserve file and folder permissions and access. In short, we are addressing this for a future release, but it involves some major coding and testing. -- Andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:00df01c548fc$b316edf0$a501280a@phx.gbl... > yes MSAS is working fine but i just don't like the bug > that people and i have encountered without any > explanation from microsoft at all, like error.log this > thing get really big if you don't watch it, compatibility > issue with some Symantec product, pop-alert take a long > time to show up (performance and stability need more > improvements), freezing when updating definitions, typos, > no multi-user/limited account support. > >>-----Original Message----- >>Is antispyware not working for you? Overall, it's not bad for a Beta. I would expect changes to the positive in
both the program and the GUI when it releases. For a beta 1 product, it does a lot, not well, but it does a lot.
