Anti-Spyware always shows last scan as April 5, 2005

Everytime I log onto my computer Microsoft AntiSpyware
always show the last scan as April 5, 2005. I've ran
several scans after this date, but I keep getting this
reading as the last scan. I always delete the 9 threats
that are shown on this date, but this doesn't correct the
problem. What's going on and how do I correct this
problem?

Shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware from the Notification Area, navigate to
c:\Program Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware and Delete the error log file and
restart the machine.
