Default immortal adware

I am having the same problem as "dk". I run MS AntiSpy
over and over, I run it in safe mode, I run it with system
restore disabled. I also run Adaware and Norton
Antvirus. I get a clean bill of health, but next time I
go on the Internet, there's the adware again with its
infuriating messages.

Does anyone know of good commercially available program
that will kill this thing.

Also, is anyone else as shocked and disgusted as I am that
supposedly legimate and repectable firms such as eBay and
Vonage do business with these scumbag adware producers. I
expect sleazy diet pill and online casinos to use spyware,
but when eBay and Vonage popped up, my jaw dropped. You
can tell one's character by the company they keep. I am
cancelling my eBay and PayPal accounts and I don't care if
Vonage is a penney per month, I will never use thier
service.
..

are you a computer geek? (no offence meant, just want to make sure you
understand my lingo)
for chronic cases of spyware, I use a reg seeker first to see what's in the
registry and brutally clean the registry. Boot into safe mode and try to delete
the references to the registry. Some files simply refused to be removed.
reboot. Go offline. reboot into safe mode and run MSAS in full scan. Reboot. Run
the other antispyware applications. Check registry and see whether the culprits
are still around.

other applications include stopping spyware from loading into the startup when
windows boot

Hi

No, but you have plenty of free forums for removals, you
can´t find a
good commercial program for this spyware djungle.

Use one of these forums for HijackThis logs removal.

or

You can try other "cleaning" software, too:

McAfee Stinger http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/
Spybot Search&Destroy http://www.majorgeeks.com/download2471.html
HijackThis http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html
CWShredder http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3019.html
Ad-Aware SE Personal http://www.lavasoft.com/software/adaware/
