Two questions

How can I can change version 1.0.501 to recent version
1.0.509.

I try different ways, but until now not had luck. Any aid
is appreciated

My system is running OK with 501. So I like to know what I
get in the change )from 501 to 509

Well, you can download .509 at this link and then install it, it will just
upgrade your present .501 to .509:
http://download.microsoft.com/downl...wareInstall.exe

After installing, open Microsoft AntiSpyware, click File > Check for
Updates.

There are few visible changes in .509.

The help file has a "known issues" section which is pretty inclusive--really
covers most of the issues.

There's an explicit link to the newsgroups in the Help menu.

And--it is much harder to accidentally stop a scan in progress by clicking
round.

Guys that was a good shot.

Downloaded at mi Desktop.

Execute.

Reboot Safe mode.

Check on help. (I have now 509 and version 5701)

Reboot.

Check on help (same settings)

Check for updates (get 2 golden starts)

All this in couple of minutes.

No problem so far.
