Allow the SpyWare Scheduled Scan to run as a service.
Most systems in our office are at the logon prompt at 2:00am, but since MSAS Scheduled Scans run as a program, not a service - only the machines where users forgot to logoff are scanned. Since leaving a user logged in is a physical security risk - we've implemented policies that auto-logoff users; which of course prevents the MSAS from running a scan. |

It would be nice to have MSAS run as a Service, I probably don't think you
will see it in the final release and will be targetted an Enterprise Edition with features for Central Management and Group Policy. -- Andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:1c7701c53345$d9390580$a401280a@phx.gbl... > Allow the SpyWare Scheduled Scan to run as a service. > Most systems in our office are at the logon prompt at > 2:00am, but since MSAS Scheduled Scans run as a program, > not a service - only the machines where users forgot to > logoff are scanned.
