I among others had problems with the antispyware
disbaling the firewall - I found here somewhere
instructions article ID 892350 about the winsock reset
and it worked fine - both machines are happy.

I cannot find the original posts to add it there but
thanks to MS support guys who read these posts and reply.

Terrific! Microsoft expects to be able to clean items that cause this
problem better in the future--so with luck, by the end of the beta, that
article will get a lot less use.
