MS Antispyware Causes Pause Opening Office documents - SLOWS DDE

Microsoft Antispyware Beta1 slows DDE on Windows XP.

Specifically, Office documents open with a 4 second
delay. Also, other programs that use DDE are slower. If
you close Antispyware, the delay vanishes.

With antispyware running, you can modify the association
for "doc", uncheck Use DDE and change the open comment
to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10
\WINWORD.EXE" "%1" and the delay no longer occurs.

This means Microsoft Antispyware is slowing down DDE for
some reason.

Otherwise, it's a great program. Too bad I have to
uninstall it. Hopefully this will be fixed.
