When ever I try to run Mircosoft AntiSpyware, I get a pop
up that it has exprized as of July 31 2005. Please contact
Mircosoft for an updated version.

What locale are you using? Is your version of Windows a non-English
version?

This beta is English only, and works for many, but not all locales, as long
as the date formats,.both short and long,. are set to the defaults for the
locale.

If that doesn't do the job for you, you'll need to await a further beta
build where this issue is improved on.

Everyone has the same, at that time, if MS has not released another build
you will have to go to the download site and install another refreshed version.

As Andre mentions--the detection code for the date seems to require the
default settings for the short and long date formats for your locale.

There may be locales for which this doesn't help--my recollection is that
the beta may not work at all for Japanese versions of Windows.

If this is the case for you, please recheck when Beta2 is released--or at
least, a beta version which has localization work done on it--I would expect
this to be corrected for many people before the beta finishes--even though
full localization work is unlikely to be completed.

And what date do YOU think it is currently?

If you have changed the Date format on your PC, you will
receive the above message. I received the same message
and by changing my date format back to the default
[yyyy/MM/dd], problem solved.
