Startup and minimized

So far Spyware has worked fine for me, but it wouldn't
start when I started the computer, I had to click on the
Icon on the desktop. So I moved a shortcut into the
Startup folder. It starts up now, but not minimized. I
tried going into the properties and changing the startup
size to minimized, but it still starts up full sized in
the middle of my screen. How can I get it to start
minimized or just so it's ober there in the tray?
