Today, I attempt to access the AntiSpyWare program,
double-click to access, but cannot open program. It gives a status of "Active," but I cannot open up the program. |

Its a possibility it is still loading, but its taking long as usual. Have
tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application to see if it fixes the problem? Try installing in a non-default location such as C:\MSAS. Which build of MSAS are you running, .501 or .509? Also try the following: Open up control panel and double-click on add/remove programs. Select Microsoft AntiSpyware Select "Change" On the Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard, click next. On the next screen (Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard) select Update Microsoft AntiSpyware and click next. Select Install Let the product update. Click Finish. -- Andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm "Rebecca" <bgregory17@atlanticbb.net> wrote in message news:097f01c5315c$3e9c4c70$a501280a@phx.gbl... > Today, I attempt to access the AntiSpyWare program, > double-click to access, but cannot open program. Thank you for your suggestion. It worked. I selected
the "Change" option to update the program. I can now access and manually run the program. It ran yesterday without incident--actually has run since I downloaded it without any incidents. Until today, it stopped >80 "spy" items, updated automatically without any difficulty, and ran its scheduled process without interference. Not sure what happened, but the "Change" process worked.
